Mims Pottery & Errington Reay have the pots you need!

We were excited to see Mims Pottery return to Four Oaks with their fabulous outdoor garden pottery and historic British brand, Errington Reay, the country’s last remaining manufacturer of salt-glazed pottery (pictured below). These are the family heirlooms of the future and have the potential to help make your garden centre into an exciting destination for customers in search of curated artisan products.

For garden centres in search of a reliable supplier of beautiful and varied but affordable outdoor ranges following the exit of AMES and Apta, Mims will have a solution for you. Not only does this British business have a superb portfolio of experly crafted proven sellers, it also offers a full merchandising service to rival any other UK manufacturer in this sector.

The product range is comprehensive and with very attractive collections, at price points that are exceptionally competitive. If you’re in search of beautiful big, frost-proof outdoor decorative pots that your customers can actually afford, Mims should be your first port of call at Glee next week.

Short-staffed garden centres needn’t worry about taking care of difficult to merchandise, heavy pots and planters, as the Mims team will do it all for you utlising customised display stands and POS materials.

Managing director, Mimi Milne, who is pictured here with gardening podcaster, Dave the Plantman, told us: “We’ve expanded our merchandising service for retailers and now have a nationwide team of 15 that our customers can call upon for help. We not only deliver the product but will dress your displays in the best possible way to maximise space and attract shoppers. Recommended retail pricing is also included on the pots to make life easier.

“We’re one of the only outdoor pot manufacturers in the country that’s able to offer such a comprehensive service, which basically amounts to an extra pair of hands where it’s most needed for busy garden centres”.

Four Oaks visitors were treated to a curated display of Mims and ER’s most popular lines, including their eight top selling ‘Icons’ and a new line in water features, which bring a delightful element of Feng Shui to this thoughtfully put together collection. The handcrafted Waterworld designs combine distinctive glazed or rustic finishes with the practicality retailers need.

Fully self-contained, frost-proof and easy to install, the range has been developed to bring something genuinely different to the category, with strong visual impact and accessible price points.

The ‘Icons’ are drawn from Mims’ most distinctive designs and reliably strong sellers, which are the starting point for any retailer looking to stock their pots for the first time. They include the hand-crafted slate-chipped Westcott, which you can look forward to seeing at Glee next week. Mims will have a comprehensive display on their stand in Hall 18 C62, as the company returns to the show after an absence of several years.

Mimi added: “We are incredibly excited to be returning to Glee after several years away. Mims has been part of the garden retail industry for almost four decades, but we are still evolving, innovating and finding new ways to support our customers. Our return to Glee with our Icons feels like the beginning of an exciting new chapter for the business and the right time to put Mims firmly back in the spotlight. The Icons represent everything we stand for, from dependable performance and exceptional value to exclusive design and genuine craftsmanship. We cannot wait to reveal them at the show.
