British Garden Centres prepares for biggest Garden Re-Leaf Day yet

British Garden Centres is gearing up for Garden Re-Leaf Day (Friday 20th March), with all 78 stores coming together to organise a variety of fundraising events in support of Greenfingers Charity. With an ambitious goal to raise £100,000 in total throughout 2026, the group is committed to making a significant difference and doubling the £52,000 it raised last year.

Throughout the centres, teams will hold numerous fun and engaging fundraising activities, providing customers and teams with exciting opportunities to participate and contribute to this worthy cause. Events will include raffles, cake sales, bingo nights, quizzes, fancy dress competitions, tombolas, and creative ‘Naming’ and ‘Guess the Number of’ competitions.

Beyond in-store activities, team members from various centres will undertake personal fundraising challenges, ranging from sponsored walks and cycle rides to marathons, long-distance trekking, and endurance events. The teams at Leeds and Harrogate are climbing Mount Snowdon, and Brigg are biking the distance between every centre over 5 days.

Tring Garden Centre will once again be hosting the Garden Re-Leaf southern walk challenge, with fundraising activities welcoming back participants and encouraging customers to get involved.
